Masonboro Marina was a place to regroup before we tackle Cape Fear. Even the name makes ya worry some!
Took the day off from the boat and borrowed a car (Beamer!) to run errands and even caught "Princess & the Frog". How wondeful a movie from Disney and I was just explaining to Grace lastnight how princesses even have to work for what they want!
We've been riding cold fronts from the getgo it seems but this was a reassuring stop it can only get warmer and better. Especially since we bought appropriate gear to wear it'll warm up now!

Here's an Osprey that was doing touch and gos while we floated thru the area. Saw helicopters too and heard blasts for two days straight being so close to the training areas
Playing in between rain and wind while Mike checks out the failing engine again. At least Grace and I are seeing the towns!
Enjoyed our stay here for two days while we fixed the electrical system

This was one of the coolest and oldest cemeteries that Mike found for us to walk thru. Had Revolutionary and Civil War burials and the twistiest trees -very cool
Grace was very interactive as you can see! It was such a treat to be toasty warm again.
We got a hotel room just so Grave could see this special show. I didn't mind a break from the boat either hehe

Julie & Larry were some of Gracie's fave people on the marina with us. They were very kind and helpful in our boat outfitting. Many thanks and missing them.
